FuelFWD originated from venture studio Docklab and has grown into a dedicated software company supporting renewable fuel markets across Europe.
 
Initially launched as a green hydrogen platform, FuelFWD rapidly expanded in response to customer demand for robust chain-of-custody and compliance bookkeeping solutions in biofuels and other renewable fuel markets.
 
Today, the platform supports companies navigating increasingly complex regulatory requirements with confidence.

Menno van der Zalm

Managing Director & Co-Founder
Coming from an entrepreneurial family in the maritime industry, Menno developed a taste for innovation as a student in Rotterdam. Past 15 years he developed into a sustainability expert for the Energy & Chemicals industry. As co-founder and MD, he now combines all this passion and experiences to build FuelFWD and contribute to a net-zero future
Federico Pereiro

Federico Pereiro

Engineering Director
Experienced in developing and designing software systems, particularly web applications. For most of his career, he has worked together with the key stakeholders of businesses in a wide range of industries (finance, mobile games, entertainment, manufacturing) to lead the design and implementation of successful software projects that deliver business value.

Head of Customer Success
Brent brings a strong background in innovation, venture building, and customer delivery. He has been closely involved with the company from an early stage. As Head of Customer Success, Brent focuses on long term partnerships, customer outcomes, and ensuring FuelFWD solutions deliver value in daily operations.
Vincent Tribou

Vincent Tribou

Product Director & Co-Founder
Curious about innovation, technology and the energy transition, he started his career in banking, financing commodity trades and discovering a conservative industry with many pains to solve and value to create. Already involved in the early phase of the project, he co-founded FuelFWD, taking on the role of Product Director.
David van Nijenhoff

David van Nijenhoff

Sales & Growth Director
David is experienced in international sales, business development, and commercial strategy. With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a background spanning start-ups, scale-ups, and corporates, he leads FuelFWD’s commercial strategy to drive growth and innovation in the renewable fuels industry.
